From Crafting with My Son to a Thriving Soap Business

One day, my little son and I were pondering what crafty activity we could do together. After some thought, we decided to try making soap.
We gathered all the necessary supplies and, with great enthusiasm, set to work creating some teddy bear-shaped soap using a plastic mould meant for sandpits. The result was absolutely charming – the teddy bear soap turned out incredibly cute, and we both couldn’t help but admire our handiwork.

We enjoyed the process immensely

And it was especially delightful when the finished soap gave my son the perfect reason to encourage his teddy bear to have a bath. He was so proud of the little creation that it became a fun part of our routine, especially when we returned from our walks.

Since that first teddy bear soap, I became increasingly curious and excited about the endless possibilities of soap-making.

I began experimenting with different ingredients, natural additives, soap bases, and moulds. Each time, I was eager to try new recipes and designs.

In the meantime, I dived deep into research, learning about various soap ingredients, their manufacturing processes, and their origins. I also looked into the legal requirements and safety assessments necessary for selling handmade soaps.

Soon enough, what began as a simple, fun activity with my son turned into a full-blown passion project.

I started producing my own soaps, experimenting with even more creativity and care. It was amazing how a small, joyful idea could grow into something that brought so much learning and excitement into our lives.
